I ran into a little trouble using a 'strict' rfc2822 parser to parse
the patch logs.

According to the RFCs, the 'Date' field must look like:

rfc2822: "Wed, 7 Apr 2004 12:25:45 -0700"

rfc822: "Wed, 7 Apr 04 12:25:45 PDT" ['Wed, ' is optional]

But in tla, the field looks like this:

tla: "Wed Apr 7 12:25:45 PDT 2004"

Not sure how much sense it makes to fix this -- it's easy enough to
work around and fixing it might do more harm than good. Clearly,
existing patch logs are going to remain unchanged forever. So even if
tla started writing the 'Date' field in rfc2822 format, the existing
patch logs would still have the current format.

In theory, cat-archive-log, cat-log, etc. *could* rewrite the 'Date'
line to be rfc2822 compliant... Anything that looks directly at the
patch logs would still have to know both formats.

Seems like a no-win situation :)
