I think this is the wrong way to go. Create a role account and stuff a
'tla update' in a crontab at ten minute intervals.

Or something like the system I have running for bugs.gnuarch.org: the
project tree contains a script which sends a short mail to the server,
which in turn merges from *my* archive into the working tree and
commits the lot.
