Oh, rm'ing files and then updating to get them back is not only a common
occurance, but *frequent*. 

Many cvs users don't know how to resolve conflicts. If they come across
a conflict while updating their tree, often they'll delete the files
with conflicts, update, and then re-do the work that they just threw
away. Yes, I'm completely serious. Reject resolution is a complicated
tasks and there isn't very much educational information "out there" that
teach people how to resolve conflicts.

One of the ways that we could resolve the "I want rm-then-update" is to
provide some simple and some moderate examples of conflict resolution in
the arch docs. 

If I ran the world, I'd actually task Tom with this one; giving him
instructions to write with a naive audience in mind.
