I've been a little bit lame about feedback on the windows foo. I'm
sorry. Things have been very busy here at "arch central" (so to
speak). Hang in there, please. AFAICT with less than ideal review
-- I think y'all are going in the right direction. Please keep it up
and I think the project will catch up with you. Absolute worst case
is that the project regards this work as an informative "wrong way to
do it" example but, again, it sounds vaguely right so far to me.

And, to reiterate .... "the industry" ought to pony up for the
completion and integration of this windows foo. That's not the only
way it will get done, I'm sure, but..... anything less than just
funding it with a tiny bump (considering how valuablue it is) is kinda
lame, ya' know?
