I didn't say that.

What's the difference between "couldn't get my head around it" and
I'm "not used to it"?

I said at least twice that writing something non trivial would
probably get me up to speed (ie., get used to it).

(I admit that my description may (undesirably) turn others off such
syntaxes; my apologies if that is your concern.)
