Perhaps but.....  first we have to get g-a-u back to a state where
people can discuss things rationally.  For a long time, the list had a
base level of stupid flamage and that was fine because it (as a side
effect) cleared up a lot of bugs in people's individual understanding
of things.  This thread, though, looks to me like it's not going
anywhere desirable (to anyone) --- just non-engineering (and rather
pointless) power struggles.
