BTW, some more detail for those that haven't seen this: in such lisps (I
think interlisp is the one I saw), you can use [ and ] as parentheses, and a
closing ] will automatically add any necessary normal parens to reach the
level of the matching opening [. Thus you typically use [ and ] for "major"
levels.

I didn't like what I saw of it either; it just seemed weird seeing all those
unmatched parentheses ... maybe you get used to it.
