[Gnu-arch-users] star merging from other archives

star merging seems to involve a lot of typing:

as zen@/devel, I do this for every inward star merge:

tla missing address@hidden/cpc--stable--1.0
tla star-merge address@hidden/cpc--stable--1.0
[REVIEW]
tla commit

Similarly for merging in to STABLE from either developer, and for the
other developer.

I guess this is where aliases would be nice to be able to do something
like

tla alias arch address@hidden/cpc--stable--1.0
tla alias parth address@hidden/cpc--parthDev--4.0

so that I can then do:

tla missing arch
tla star-merge arch
[REVIEW]
tla commit

and from stable:

tla missing $name
tla star-merge $name
[REVIEW]
tla commit

I guess I need to go check out tlash etc, that people have hinted at in
the past.

cheers
zen
