I should add that I've been guilty of exactly what Tom is charged with -
namely letting merge requests pile up - when I was maintainer of Apache Cocoon,
and like Tom I'm a blue-sky person who tends to neglect the small stuff at
times. So I'm not exactly a paragon of virtue on this either - far from it.

So, yeah, I can understand and empathise with Tom as well. That doesn't
change the reality that he's not the most responsive maintainer.
