It's harmful to the Wiki spirit of openness and free, anonymous
expression between contributors.

Or at least, that's what you'll probably hear from some people.  But
so are spammers, Google-link-count monkeys.. and slowly, the Internet
as a whole.

I'm reluctantly leaning in the pro-login direction.
