[GNU-linux-libre] Announcement: Iceweasel-Libre packages in slack-n-free

From: Henry Jensen
Subject: [GNU-linux-libre] Announcement: Iceweasel-Libre packages in slack-n-free repo
Date: Sat, 7 Jun 2014 00:20:12 +0200

The slack-n-free repo offers binary builds of Linux-Libre for
Slackware-based distros since September 2013.

Now there are additionally libre packages made available.

Initially the slack-n-free repo offers builds of iceweasel-libre für
x86 and x86_64 - based on the work by the Parabola GNU/Linux people.

The packages are:

./slack-n-free-14.1/xap/iceweasel-libre-29.0.1-i686-1.tgz
./slack-n-free64-14.1/xap/iceweasel-libre-29.0.1-x86_64-1.tgz

Of course the source code and build files are also available at the
slack-n-free repo.

You can find the repo at

  http://www.connochaetos.org/slack-n-free/

The binary packages are signed with my GPG key. You can download my
public key at http://www.connochaetos.org/slack-n-free/key.asc.

Note: slack-n-free isn't a complete distro. It is a additionally repo
for Slackware based distros. It's purpose is to offer libre packages for
users who appreciate Slackwares simplicity but are unhappy with the
fact, that Slackware does not have a clear free software policy
and ships a Linux kernel with non-free blobs.
