So?  Microsoft heavily funded Transvirtual Technologies, which was
behind the development of Kaffe.  What difference does it make?  The
software is still free, regardless of who created it.

What makes you think the free software movement isn't close to *victory*
by *making* Microsoft et al adapt to freedom or die?
