Details:

The FITS standard allows each HDU to have its own extension name (value to the
`EXTNAME' keyword). Currently, in most cases they are just set to the name of
the program that was run. 

A common option can be specified to read the extension name (similar to the
`--hdu' or other common options) and use the value the user has specified to
allow more customization of the output.
