There is a new development snapshot of gnucap available.

1. Refinements to the level 8 and 49 (BSIM3) model. All DC
parameters are now correct, including substrate current. There
is still a problem with charge effects. Some of the charge
effects, but not all, are correctly modeled.

2. Parsing of statements that have named parameters is more
flexible. Expressions are still not supported. Surrounding
parameter names with ' ', " ", { }, like some commercial
simulators, now works. It should no longer be necessary to
identify which are nodes, etc, with parentheses. The
parentheses are still recommended for readability, but are not

3. All values, including array values like in PWL, and size
dependent parameters like in the BSIM models, can have named

4. Some cases of incorrect elements descriptions are now handled
more sensibly. For example, leaving out a value is handled

5. DC sweeps can be nested, for now up to 4 deep.

6. C++ language standard corrections, so it compile with gcc

Issues still outstanding to be addressed before an official

1. BSIM3 charge effects. Part of it is turned off because it
causes convergence problems. It is probably a simple error.
Since the current state is an improvement over the last
snapshot, and this is a development snapshot, I decided to
release anyway. This issue applies to BSIM1 and BSIM2 also.

2. Autoconf based build system. (Thanks: Dan McMahill) I have
code, just need to integrate it, test it, and verify

3. The manual does not include changes since 0.34, the last
official release.
