Then I would suggest your MVS compiler is buggy.
A redefines of a redefines is a MVS extension but even so
must follow the rule that the redefines is equal to or smaller
in size than the redefined area. Therefore the error is correct.
Of course, the compatible way is to always use redefines on
the original item :-)
