[open-cobol-list] index file issue.

I built opencobol with support for libdb.  The version I have on my 
server is libdb-4.2.  I notice a very strange thing that is happening.  
When  I write a record to a file that is open i-o the update is only 
temporary.  I can access the new data I added when the process is 
running. ( i.e read and rewrite ).  If I terminate the process and start 
it over the data I added or modified is no longer present.  I check the 
file status after each i-o statement and they all return 0.  Any Ideas 
or comments would be most helpful.
