Q. What is the development history of OpenCOBOL?
OpenCOBOL was initially developed by Keisuke Nishida
FYI, OpenCOBOL was initially derived from TinyCOBOL.
And like TC, OC initially generated GNU assembler.
Later Keisuke rewrote and enhanced the code to generate C source.
Anyway my 2 cents worth ...
