[open-cobol-list] Open COBOL, LIXA and TX (Transaction Demarcation) Spec

Dear all,
I'm the founder of the LIXA project (http://lixa.sourceforge.net
http://sourceforge.net/projects/lixa/) and I think it could add value to
OpenCOBOL users too.
LIXA is an XA compliant Transaction Manager: it strictly adheres to XA
specification
(https://www2.opengroup.org/ogsys/jsp/publications/PublicationDetails.jsp?catalogno=c193)
and it provides a standard TX (Transaction Demarcation) Specification API
(https://www2.opengroup.org/ogsys/jsp/publications/PublicationDetails.jsp?publicationid=11221)
to allow developers in building two phase commit transactions.
TX API is a double faced API: there's a C version and a COBOL version.
The LIXA project supplies only the C version: if someone was interested in
developing the COBOL TX interface, I would be very happy to help him/her.

The Resource Managers currently tested for LIXA usage are: PostgreSQL, MySQL,
Oracle and DB2.
Regards,
Ch.F.
