Very strange. Could it be GCC bug ? I see it's pretty old.

MIDRANGE have not been changed since OC 0.33, and it does not rely on any 
internal C/C++ function.

 I downloaded open-cobol-1.1.tar.gz and tried to install it on Linux.

 I unzipped it and ran

     ./configure

 and all 77 tests were successful. However,

     make check

 results in two unexpected errors at 163 (MID-RANGE) and 172 (PRESENT-VALUE).

 I have attached the run.log file.  Any help would be welcome.
