I've been using a neat public domain Python script, youtube-dl, to
download YouTube videos ever since I got rid of Flash[1]. With the the
-b option it will fetch the best quality video file. Works like wget.
The latest version also supports Google Video, Photobucket, and
Metacafe. Debian has a package in squeeze and sid.
I see TinyOgg uses URip and WatchVideo[2], which might be more
efficient.
Great work with TinyOgg! The site is very straightforward and
informative.
