Hello,
I started using GnuGo as a benchmark for NeuroGo's playing strength
recently using the GTP protocol.
Usually, GnoGo is very stable, allowing to play several hundred games
without problems. Sometimes however, it tries to play an illegal move.
I appended a game record where this happened.
GnuGo is black and uses its default settings (version 3.0.0).
After 74 W B1, GnuGo wants to play 75 B J4.
Unfortunately, this is not reproducible, if GnuGo is restarted
and the game loaded with loadsgf. In this case it happened after
one GnuGo process was playing about 70 games on 9x9 (game restart
with the boardsize command).
Maybe you want to add some assertions at strategic places.
See you
