[gnugo-devel] new_semeai()

I've put up a patch called semeai_3_17.2 which is a
complete rewrite of new_semeai(). I think it meets
Gunnar's recent criticism of that function, making
it symmetrical in its status updates, and unlike
the old version, I think it is completely readable and
maintainable.

It does not do as well as the old version in the
regressions, so I do not propose to add it to the
CVS except after further revisions.
