[gnugo-devel] Question about --monte-carlo

I looked at the documentation but wasn't able to determine whether the switch
"--monte-carlo" alone is already sufficient to enable Monte Carlo mode or
whether it additionally needs one of the three "--mc-patterns" switches.
Do I need both or is just "--monte-carlo" enough (and it'll use defaults for
patterns)?

Thanks!
