Sure. I think that would be a very good idea!
GNU Herds could track too the lists exposed at the "Help Wanted" sections of
the Savannah home page [1]. For example, the developers wanted list is at
[2].

IMHO both projects, Savannah and GNU Herds, should set up a bridge which
connect to both, being a P2P system or not.
I think we should help to improve Savannah, but we should finish first the
planned features.
