Hello all,

I am glad to be able to announce the immediate availability
of the GNUmed 1.3.8 Maintenance Release. It features the
following bug fixes and minor improvements:

Changelog:

        1.3.8

FIX: better show all relevant test results in review dialog [thanks Rogerio]
 FIX: failure of <PRW>.SetData(None)
FIX: multi-use PRW edit font growth

IMPROVED: make timeline end 1 year after end of data
 IMPROVED: es and pt_BR translations

        18.8

 FIX: typo in clin.trf_notify_reviewer_of_review_change()
FIX: ensure FKs on .fk_encounter/.fk_episode on clin.clin_root_item children

The last one really can be quite nasty given the right
circumstances, namely deleting an episode can result in
an orphaned procedure, substance intake or hospital stay.
If that happens to be the case in your database the
database upgrade process will fail and the log will
point out which rows are affected. Please get back to
us for instructions on how to remedy that situation
 in order to successfully upgrade.

Downloads available from:

        http://www.gnumed.de/downloads/client/1.3/
        http://www.gnumed.de/downloads/server/v18/

Client installation:

Easily installable packages for your platform of choice
 will be available shortly.

Meanwhile you can run the client from a downloaded tarball
or use the net based client installer:

        http://www.gnumed.de/downloads/client/gm-install_client_locally.sh

which you need to download, make executable, and run.

Database installation / upgrade:

Note that this release, as usual, does NOT require a
database upgrade. However, fixes to the database
have been provided which you REALLY should install
 with either

        $> gm-fixup_server 18

 or

        $> cd .../server/bootstrap/
        $> ./fixup-db.sh 18

Please download, install, and report problems !

Thanks,
Karsten
