Thank you for your reply.

I have included all the log files for your inspection. Furthermore, I have included screenshots of the various error messages. The gnumed icon is not properly displayed in the applications overview (screenshot included). I am currently running gnumed 1.8.0. After the first error message "There is a serious problem with the database settings" (screenshot included), a second error message is shown "An unhandled exception has occurred" (screenshot included). Even when I click "Keep running" the progam stops by itself.

For the record, the message is just a warning (even if it can
have undesirable consequences). It should let you logon
nevertheless.

Then, which version of the client do you have installed ?

Also, can you send the log file for inspection ?
