Asynchronous backend notification should now be functional. gmPG has been
modified accordingly. Haven't had time to test it yet, would somebody be so
kind and test thoroughly.
Secondly, as stated previously, we establish now separate connections for
reading and writing to/from the backend. For write access, a dummy user is
created by using the user name and prepending a '_' (like 'hherb' for
read-only connections, and '_hherb' for read+write connections).
Would somebody be so kind and write a small routine that creates this user and
sets all permissions accordingly in a gnumed database? Best way to do it
would be a function "add_user" written in plpgl, with permissions for that
function set only for the user 'gnumed_admin'
I am just too tired today to continue.
Horst
