Hi, are the distributed services supposed to be functional ? I tried to install 'pharmaceutica' on a database other than gnumed, but gmPG seems to ignore all service-database-mappings made.
Yes, the distributed services are functional. However, you must set up the configuration of the services in the configuratino tables, otherwise gmPG can't possibly know where to look for a service.
Have a look at the tables in the gmconfiguration.sql script - the comments will explain you how to do it. There is no graphical user interface for the configuration yet.
In the table "db" you need to enter all details (name of database, host & port of server, login details if applicable) In the table "config you need to link up the primary key of the service (as in table "distributed_db") with the primary key of the physical database (as in the table "db")
Do it and it works. Horst
