Hmm, what do you want to showcase ?
Well besides bugging here is another thought. VNC are you kidding ? Have you 
ever tried this via anything but a local LAN ? Take a look at NX from 
nomachine.com. This will be the way to go. Most of it is GPL. They even 
supply OpenSource projects with a valid license for the commercial package.

I have tried it. It is actually usable with an ISDN (64KBit/s) line. KDE 
developers plan on supporting this in one of the next releases along with VNC 
and whatever else is there. There are clients for most platforms.

But hey I might be a prisoner doing time, trying to sell you anything for 
ciggarette money so go take a look yourself.
