Although Java has been denounced by Richard Stallman
(, I think most people would agree 
it's "free enough". Maybe Sun will open Java just before they go into 
receivership ;-)

What I can't understand is why you didn't use a Python-based Web application 
framework like Zope ( or Woven 
so you can share code with the rest of the project.
