Some of the abbreviations "lose" non-AU docs but I surmise the PBS must be a  'Pharmaceutical Benefits Schedule' local to Australia.

If according to Horst
the prescribing info (strengths, package sizes, generic and brand names, ATC codes, subsidy and pricing info) is fully contained in the freely available and regularly updated PBS data set.

then this PBS dataset can be an example of what Ian proposed as a "Component #1" country-specific --- or region-within-country-specific, e.g. provincial --- detailed data set

And so then, is the interest in "Big-MIMS/annual"

i) "Big-MIMS/annual" as a "data source" for drugref i.e. to expand its monographs?
-- is that proposed and is that one of the questions for Richard re easing of license, that for a (potentially finite period of time) this might be done but the data might later have to be "pulled out"?

ii) "Big-MIMS/annual" as an *alternative* source to drugref, to be accessible by Hilmar's browser which does_or_does_not(?) already support drugref and is_or_is_not(?) intended to?

--- on ii) does Hilmar's browser currently support only a single, Germany-specific source of data in which case is any broadening of that browser warranted instead of, or to accompany, development of said interfacing "driver"

iii) Does MIMS also sell granular data usable for prescribing, making it any part of the appeal to work with "MIMS' data structure" i.e. does MIMS offer an extended structure pertinent to prescribing, causing some within gnumed to want to work toward being MIMS-ready?
