Another screenshot shows the EMR tree. Note:
The allergy manager expresses dates in the format 2008-08-28
The EMR tree right hand panel expresses 17.09.2000
What would be the best method by which to regularize the expression
of dates? I am partial to yyyy.mm.dd however
a) it is important that it be consistent
b) it is *essential* that it be unambiguous, and a number of groups
and I believe even some standards and quality assurance and error
reduction type-people have urged that the month be expressed as mmm
(ie. with 3 characters)
c) can the regularization be abstracted so as to be able to be
specified in a .conf file?
