does that mean that the dependencies for gnumed-client 0.5.x are incremented from 0.4.x?

at bottom I appended some apt-cache results and could not see even in gnumed-client and gnumed-server that the dependency on python-psycopg2 is clearly specified.

I do think that updates when running stock Lenny (stable) can fail to take dependencies from testing and newish gnumed-clients (from tarballs) if they had new dependencies may not have been taken care of.

I gather people would need to (?)

- know what these are, and install them with apt-get testing

- wait for a newly-packaged gnumed-client

- alter their preferences "pinning" as provided in the sample file at http://wiki.gnumed.de/twiki/pub/Gnumed/DebianGuideLong/preferences

In my own Lenny, I seem to have python-psycopg2 at version 2.0.9-5 despite that I cannot remember if I specifically installed it or whether it somehow came as a result of my pinning python-support. Note that Lenny (stable) has only python-psycopg2 2.0.7:
