I can appreciate how the addition of such a line can seem unnecessary to those 
already familiar with 1-0-0-0 but as someone from a community in which this is 
not customary and yet is so appealing, the line is a good way to to orient 
people (patients *and* their doctors) who would be looking at such a thing for 
the first time.
