Can you send me a log file with debug enabled so I can see
what is being done to placeholders inside GNUmed ?

In the meantime I will check what's going on.

Maybe there could but I don't know how. Very likely there is
some setting in OOo to allow this (along the lines of "keep
page structure from template").
