Liz is not the first to point out the all too common failures in hospital
discharge communication.
To answer Rogerio's question,
- I agree with Karsten's plan re a plug-in
- differences:
1) a referral letter has a context that includes making a request
2) referral letter may choose, on a per-patient basis, to customize the content
depending on what t he consultant would be interested to see (or what is
personal awhen not relevant to a request)
3) overview would presumably behave consistently across patients, depending
only on what is available in their record
4) overview (being electronic) may permit to "jump" into another section of
GNUmed, which a printout report would obviously not
