An interesting perspective on costs, suggesting users of an EMR may be well
advised to use an EMR which licenses a 3rd party database instead of developing
its own.

I agree with the point about the duplication of work (cost) for everybody to be
building their own.
They do also say

This, with FreeDiams, is not the case, however I can understand how companies
which bring in revenues might spend extra time to improve their data sources.
What should be the thinking about allowing users to contribute interactions to
FreeDiams, and of providing the references?
