Presently, the UI will permit multiple line items (components) to be selected. 
However, the "Delete" button will not work when a multi-selection is in focus.

Therefore I am gathering this "delete the other substances" must for now be 
one-at-a-time?

Would this be something for 1.3?

Does it need to be earmarked anywhere (launchpad?)
