BTW one of Vaibhav's requests was some help to avoid to prescribe medications
that may be present in the list, but which ought to NOT be re-prescribed.
Among the problems, he was finding, were drugs who were now beyond their
Duration / Until
dates. So maybe a button which selects sane rows could here be helpful. It
would select only rows whose
- value for "discontinued" either remained, or was newly made, null AND one of
Duration / Until has a null date, or date >= today OR
is Long Term
IOW the selection would consist of rows that possess a right-pointing arrow.
The user can then de-select from among the rows for which the patient does not
actually require more medication. This GNUmed cannot know, because GNUmed
cannot know
- whether the patient originally received an amount of medication to last them
the full course, or
- whether the value in Duration / Until has just been extended, or
- when will be the next visit until which the supply must suffice
