Hi,
Some of what is given in the attached is more in the nature of a Clinical
Decision Support System tool however it caused me to wonder a couple of things.
One is whether and how the presence of such conditions could be stored as data
points to inform some CDSS.
The second is that, within a praxis, patients who suffer some combination of
Cognition impaired?
Altered elimination?
Mobility impaired?
Previous fall (last 90 days)?
Vision Impaired?
may be worth knowing about as more-challenged anyway.
Some of this can be captured with "tags". I am thinking that impairments of
vision
hearing
mobility
language
cognition
can all affect front-line workers in communicating, and advising or
co-ordinating transportation, for patients.
Is it worth to add to a to-do list to try to find suitable images for such tags
(which I AFAIK we do not currently have in GNUmed)?
Does it remind us that any future interaction with CDSS may need to pull and
express data not only from interval age (from date of birth) and sex/gender and
"diagnoses" but also from the tags and measurements and probably allergy
information?
