Can you give some more information on the cardread command.
That's a rather generic term. What sort of data does it
export in what format ?
GNUmed can read in a few formats, including certain XML, some
xDT, and others.

There might be fairly easily adaptable support. I can tell if
you tell me what data cardread gives you.

For some reason it does work in my environment w/o anything
in the phrasewheel.

There's certainly a lot of UI things to improve, each of
which takes time :-)
