All,
Currently GNUstep's windowing model contains no consideration for displays with
multiple workspaces. It is an obvious hole in GNUstep's approach to such
things when, in WindowMaker, I can switch workspaces and click on my
application's icon and it doesn't appear or some windows appear, but not
others.
Any attempt to add this capability should fit in the existing model or be an
extension of it.
In my opinion, GNUstep should:
1) Be able to make windows omnipresent
2) Be able to bring up all of the windows of an app when it's icon is clicked
or, at least...
3) have WindowMaker go to the workspace that application currently resides on.
Please share your thoughts.
