Done as you instructed. No success. What's more: when cleaning base and 
gui and remaking them with
debug=yes, since my own projects are in debug mode anyway, gui will no 
longer install. It compiles alright,
but at the linking stage it bails:

Making all for service GSspell...
 Creating GSspell.service/Resources/Info-gnustep.plist...
././shared_debug_obj/make_services: error while loading shared 
libraries: libgnustep-base_d.so.1.10: cannot open shared object file: 
No such file or directory

I've looked into /usr/GNUstep/System/Library/Libraries and the library 
is clearly visible. I need an aspirin ...
