I'll work on making a release of the core libraries. It will be tomorrow at the earliest though.

I think it's fine, given that, if anyone really did have a problem
with it, we could easily rewrite them.

As far as I can tell 21478 is resolved now and 21479 is only a wish.
From my side there isn't any other outstanding issue blocking a
 release.
I will stop my development work now and wait for the release.
