Unfortuantely I also can't look directly into the database.
The approval user interface is unfortunately not error-proof, i.e. if something 
is rejected by moderator it is deleted immediately (wihthout asking for a 
confirmation) and there is no "undo".

If it is not in the requests for approvals any more, please simply resubmit it.
