[gpsd-dev] My old Nexus One

Hey folks,

I've got this Nexus One that I carry around with me because it's a
pretty neat piece of hardware. But I go days at a time without using
it, since I don't have voice service on it and it's not always connected
to the net.

I was thinking I'd put a Debian chroot on it and put it in the rack.
I'm starting this telephone company, and I hear that having a local time
source is important for time-sensitive tasks like TDMA and whatnot.
I've been trying to get an old Delorme TripMate I was gifted set up for
this role. But I've been unable to get it working. I did get gpsd
sync'd up with ntpd, though. That was pretty easy.

Have any of you got any experience using a Nexus One as a GPS source for
gpsd? Got any pro tips? I'm happy to write patches if necessary.

Cheers,

C.J.
