Uh, sounds like a build failure, not a live failure.  We prolly need a
script that test builds several of the problematic configurations.

Like with and without: NMEA, PPS, Garmin, etc.

Prolly not, Garmins seem to be dwindling.  OTOH, I'm always in favor
of release early and often.  Even though that drives the Debian people
crazy...

Anything else to do for 3.17?
