I'm not gonna waste cycles on strange ways to git pull.

One time only:

~ # rm gpsd -r
gpsd # git clone git git://git.savannah.nongnu.org/gpsd.git
gpsd # cd gpsd

From there on do your normal build, test thing.

Every once in a while:

gpsd # git pull

Then build/test.

The first git clone takes a while, but git pull is quite fast, pulling
only the changes.

To see recent changes, do:

gpsd # git log -p
