After build and check...
"scons" (no args) ends with:
Altered configuration variables:
bluez = False (default True): BlueZ support for Bluetooth devices
qt = False (default True): build QT bindings
scons: done reading SConscript files.
scons: Building targets ...
g++ -o libgps.so.23.0.0 -pthread -shared -Wl,-Bsymbolic
-Wl,-soname=libgps.so.23 ais_json.os bits.os clock_gettime.os daemon.os
gpsutils.os gpsdclient.os gps_maskdump.os hex.os json.os libgps_core.os
libgps_dbus.os libgps_json.os libgps_shm.os libgps_sock.os netlib.os
ntpshmread.os rtcm2_json.os rtcm3_json.os shared_json.os strl.os libgpsmm.os
-L. -lrt -ldbus-1 -ldbus-1 -lrt
leapseconds_cache_rebuild(["leapseconds.cache"], ["leapsecond.py"])
timebase_h(["timebase.h"], ["leapseconds.cache"])
scons: done building targets.
Do it again and I get the same results.
--------
After scons (build) and scons check,
scons install does a blizard of rebuilding.
Maybe I'm doing something stupid. Can somebody reproduce this?
After scons install.

scons install again rebuilds libgps.so.23.0.0 as above. It doesn't install
anything.
