Yes, but some will not compile gpsd with optimizations. And, if it is
the same, why not keep it for those not so lucky?
And, as I said, it shows nothing about the optimizations when the
function is put in a library. Will the same callining optimization
be used then? That is our use case, not stand alone like godbold
does.
